This is a beautiful fragrance. It does have a nostalgic quality to it. Like a gentle scent on a breeze that brings back a comforting memory.
I was a little apprehensive on first whiff. Smelling it straight from the bottle it had a slight soapy(?) air to it but on my skin, it smells very clean and fresh from the mossy stone and dries to a very pleasant, subtle, warm floral. Not overwhelming, and appropriate for everyday wear. It’s so lovely! Im so happy I decided to get this one, I’ll definitely be wearing it very often

Something about this one stirred an unexpected emotional response in me. I’m not sure exactly what is reminding me of my late grandmother, but I’m always missing her, so I welcome the gentle scent memory this evoked. Cemetery Soirée is beautifully atmospheric, transporting me to the cozy warmth of her home. I can picture her stirring mulled cider on the stovetop as rain taps against the roof and echoes softly from the Florida room just off her kitchen. While wet, it’s all rain and mossy stones. It’s earthy and grounding in the most comforting way. The funeral flowers appear as it dries down, but they mostly linger softly in the background. Simple, beautiful, and a poignant reminder of one of the most wonderful women I’ve ever known.
