Best patchouli + vanilla I've smelled

Smells like cinnamon gum. Wet, it's a pleasant spicy patchouli + vanilla combo. The ylang adds creaminess. Can’t detect catnip. Dry down is much less spicy. Lovely fall/winter scent.

Jane Austen's perfume?

This perfume reminds me of something I read in the book "Dress in the Age of Jane Austen: Regency Fashion" by Hilary Davidson. The cotton muslin that was all the rage then was shipped from India in the cargo holds of boats also carrying spices. The fabric itself was wrapped in leaves of patchouli (unknown in Europe) to keep the bugs and rodents away. So when Emma or whomever would buy it in England, part of the thrill as the bolts unrolled onto the counter in the shop was the scent, full of cloves and patchouli and fresh clean fabric. "Charisma Bonus" is exactly how I imagine that scent. It is sexy and elegant but I keep wearing it to sleep! I feel like I'm wasting it but it's so cool and relaxing.

I remember liking this scent when I first tried it, very lovely patchouli. The bottle is now aged a year and smells INCREDIBLE. I wore it last week and by the end of the day the sweater I wore was so beautiful, this scent has magick in it. The notes are well blended too.

This is the scent I wear when I need something to go my way, whether a meeting, an outcome, or a life event. This scent gives me confidence!

A spicy punch

This is a bold perfume to say the least, very rich and spicy.

In the bottle: Bubblegum? And maybe brown sugar. If those could combine in a pleasant way, this would be it.

Wet: A fancy french glass bottle of full sugar COLA. It's a little spicy and tickles your nose with bubbles and is very sweet and tangy and just good *cola*.

Dry: Mellowing out, is that the patchouli? I'm not usually into patchouli, but this isn't the thick, incense-y patchouli I'm accustomed to. I think the honey vanilla is helping round it and make it less heavy, though I wouldn't say I could strictly identify the honey *or* vanilla. Not getting ylang ylang at all in a smell, but almost a feel of thickness, and no catnip at all. My cats are very curious about it though, so maybe they can.

Verdict for me: Three out of five cola-flavored mentos. I realized that's what it makes me think of. Not my favorite scent to smell like, but kinda fun and unusual enough I find myself sniffing my wrists anyway.
