I don't know why, but I get a strong rose scent. If I close my eyes and smell my wrists I'd swear I had my nose just inches away from a fresh-cut Spring rose and its green leaves. It's a little powdery, but in a good way. Eventually, the quince comes through, with a hint of the saffron, grounding the scent. Grapes, but not an artificial, candy grape. These are fresh off the vine and washed in rainwater.
