I was gifted a sample of this as something I would probably like, and was she right! This is evocative of my trip to Chichén Itzá in Mexico, many years ago. It was before they blocked off El Castillo from climbers, and once I climbed into the top of the great pyramid, I stood inside the small temple room. Many years later, I also climbed the great pyramid, also El Castillo, in Xunantunich, Belize. Once again standing inside the small temple room, I was reminded of those ancient peoples. The scent of those temples echos in my mind when I wear this beautiful perfume. The hot humid tropical environment, the salty sweat of my skin after those climbs, the breezes across the ancient stone, the remnants of these ancient civilizations. I am taken aback and transported into vivid memories. Thank you, Forest, for this amazing gift.
