I'm normally an apple hater, but this isn't too fruity and stays light. It reminds me of Stereoplasm's Orchard Cat, but prettier and warmer and more vanillic (and less champagne). A classic beauty, but very approachable. Almost mainstream-y, but I like this a lot. It's like the goody-two-shoes version of Death & Floral's When the Veil is Thinnest.

This is a gorgeous apple scent! And such a red apple too, like the kind you had in kindergarten and it's the smell of just between the peel and the flesh. So accurate. Anyway, then there is a little backbone to this which I guess is the dragon's blood though it's not super heavy or dusty resiny. The gardenia is beautiful - I knew NCD did good gardenias from Queen Bee but I actually like this one even better. It's so non-dairy creamy and smooth vanilla. Very very "snow white" and "rose/blood/apple red." Very fresh. On longer dry down the blackcurrant wine comes out a little more than the apple which is interesting and evocative. It's so pretty!
