Crisp apples and spice

I’m stunned at how realistic the apple note is in this. It starts off with the crispest and juiciest apple, to the point where it actually makes my mouth water. That freshly-bitten-apple soon starts to soften as the green leaves begin to make an appearance. It really does leave the impression of apples that aren’t quite ready to be plucked from their tree. I sadly get no soil from this, a dirt note is my favorite and I feel it would pair perfectly with Apple Picking. I’m definitely going to try layering it with some of my best dirt notes in order to help darken it a bit. Alone, it is a very fresh and clean smelling scent with a hint of barely there fall spice that must be coming from the wicker and the hay. It does fade rather quickly on me, within an hour of application I felt like it was almost completely gone.

FALL IN A BOTTLE

This scent IS apple picking. You smell the ripe fresh apples piled in your basket that you carry through the hay strewn orchard. It starts out very heavy on the apple and as it develops on your skin you get the wicker and a lot of hay that smells exactly like the smell all around you at a harvest festival. If you like apple and you like hay this is an easy win.

A morphing and transporting delight for the season

I said it once and I'll say it again, Nui Cobalt has some of the best apple blends to be found in the indie realm! Apple Picking is a pure autumnal delight with piles of realistic wet apple skin and freshly bitten juicy flesh all arranged on top of a nestling of sun-warmed hay. It's a trip back to the apple orchards of my youth collecting apples with my great aunt to make her infamous pies and dumplings. I adore this soothing fragrance and how it morphs every time I wear it on my skin or in my hair, today more dry wooden basket and apple skin is present to my nose when the winds gust.

Loving the realistic Apple

This is exactly what I wanted for fall. Realistic apples with some crunchy dead leave and hay that they’ve been displaying pumpkins on.. Love this scent!!
