The first note that comes out to me is the maple wood, sweet with a little bit of char. Next, I can smell the atmospheric notes of the fallen leaves, pliable after soaking in the rain. The gourmand notes come next with the tart and honeyed crabapples enmeshed with the spicy clove. The dry basil component is an herbal backbone that reminds me of pepper in the blend. I feel the cashmere sprinkles in the cozy feeling into this perfume. I define this as an atmospheric/gourmand. It takes me to a place that’s outdoors and blended excellently with some spice and sweetness. I classify the throw on this as medium as after applying it on my wrist, then putting my arm down, I could still easily smell it in the air. This scent is a nice take on Fall, that’s not going the usual spice heavy direction. The unique addition of basil which I thought might be more repellent to me, has actually made me continue huffing the scent. I could see it being perfect for Spring wear as well when the rains come to wake up the seeds after a long Winter.
