This scent opens with a myriad of berries--but, fascinatingly, not in a "summery" way. When I first put it on, I felt like I was in a kitchen in late summer/early fall making three types of jam. Like, the air is getting cooler outside, but you're surrounded by a warm hearth and delicious fruit. The berries linger and then are joined by one of my *favorite* notes from Nui Cobalt: the apricot! If you've tried Black Squirrel (or maybe the other squirrels, I'm not sure. I've only tried Black Squirrel), you know how fantastic this apricot is. I'm so happy to smell it again here! If you are looking for a lovely fruity scent that connotes fall but isn't apple/pumpkin/pear based, you can't go wrong with this one.
