First sniff- an atmospheric of blustery cold and metallic sharpness. I chose the blend based on description alone, the coal dust and steel intriguing me. The copal reaches out to my nose first, an amberlike fresh resin note. The coal dust to me is like a gritty woodsmoke, if that makes any sense. The cedarwood gives the blend a hint of life, the ongoing train engine as a warm prickly wood scent. I feel the cashmere is rustic scent that gives the feeling of a foreboding chill to the perfume. The cardamom dips in with the earthy smoke scent. I envision the toasted marshmallow compliments the cardamom with the roasted scent that leans toward a life within a machine. The shining steel comes across as an iron-laden iciness. As a fan of atmospherics, this one’s a keeper, definitely a stand-out in my collection.
