Pumpkin pie and flowers??? I will say I genuinely did not think this was going to work out for me. I am not a floral lover or even liker in most cases, but I am if anything curious so I gave it a go. When first applied, I get the buttery crust, and as that resides I start to get the warm spices and pumpkin coming through. Floating across the top though like a little ghost is the nasturtium flower - it's wispy and delicate and is such a good balance to the gourmand notes of the pumpkin pie. If you like Moonalisa's The Rumpkin, you will probably love this.

This is not opening in the way that I would expect. It’s got a bit of a funk and I’m kind of here for it??? I was expecting a pumpkin-forward gourmand (pretty much the only gourmand I actually like), and instead it’s giving vegetal pumpkin flesh that’s been left out in the rain. Rather than having a warm vibe, I actually get a bit of a chilly quality from this. As it starts to dry on the skin, I’m getting a bit more of a buttery crust alongside the nasturtiums. The florals are lending a spicy musk to this blend and are combining with the pumpkin in the most intoxicating way. I do find this to be a particularly cozy scent and I love how much it surprised me.
