This starts off in the juiciest way, almost to the point of making my mouth water. I never knew how much I wanted to smell like pears and honey!! I see why Nui finds this to be a fancy scent. It’s a spring dream and I want my entire house to smell like this forever, please. The flowers come out a little later into the dry down and it really does feel as if they were carried by a gentle breeze. I get more honeysuckle than I do lily, but it’s beautifully floral. I love how it never gets too sweet, it’s just the perfect blend of fruit, flowers, and honey to accompany a sunny day.

The honey and the pears in this scent blend so beautifully, like pears simmering in honey. This could be the only thing I wear all spring and summer, it's that amazing. The honey here is not cloying, it's perfectly sweet without giving you a toothache. Overall, a very elegant scent, I hope everyone gets to try this one.

The Bees' Cotillion is an intoxicating blend of fruit, warm honey (I can't get enough of Nui Cobalt's honey fragrances; I want to hoard them all like a shimmery amber dragon) and florals. It has found a special place on top my vanity, is one of my favourite pear perfumes to date and I know this sounds odd but this scent is lucky as good things seem to happen when I don it. It's professional and positively unique and says I have arrived in life while also staying approachable.

To begin with scent alone is mouth wateringly delicious. On me it starts off fresh crisp pear slices that soften as the honey steals in and sweetens the blend and the florals begin to waft gently in the background. It's so lovely for spring I could wear it all season long but perhaps even more wonderful than the scent, it's one of my favorites can you tell?, is the mood boost I get when I wear it. Having a bad morning? Feeling cranky and unwilling to spend one of the /finally/ emerging bright spring days in class? Need just a little something to put a smile back on your face and push you through an anxious day? The fix, at least for me, is to slather on The Bee's Cotillion <3
