When I tried this fresh out of the mail, it was basically all sunflowers. Now, first on, it’s a little bit sunflower, a lotta bit funky fenugreek. Underneath is a vanillic bread and noticing it transforms the funky fenugreek smell into more of a toasted seeds on top of bread smell. And then the sunflower petals crop up more. A lot of sunflower scents are the fantasy perfume version, but this smells like summers spent wistfully rubbing sunflower petals between your fingers. The petals have a tinge of fresh paint to them, which is kinda accurate. I originally put only a small amount on, because I struggle with florals, but did end up applying more to see how this wafts. And up close, it’s still a nice vanillic bread. But the waft is more of a fresh musky herbal scent. The herbalism puts it out of the running for being very me (although I am still considering, because I do like it) but it is nice and I think anyone looking for that kind of scent would enjoy it quite a lot.
