This opens with velvety soft primrose petals dotted with rain and scattered across the earth. The dry down reminds me a lot of one of my favorite florals by Nui, Anthophilia. It has the same creaminess, but the addition of a dirt note places Banshee above it in my eyes. Apparently gorse is supposed to smell like coconut, but I’m not noticing it here. Same thing with the lamb’s wool, it’s not as present as it is in Nui’s Somniphilia, but there is a plushness to the whole scent that makes me feel incredibly calm. I do get a slight sense of greenery from the moss, but the florals are really standing out for me. This one holds closer to the skin after it’s dried down and I love how I get gentle whiffs of it throughout the wear time.
