NCD’s silk note is a thing of beauty; it’s got this musky, slight powderiness, and smells golden to me, and there’s no funk like some silk notes have. The peach blossom and wisteria create this aural sunrise kind of scent; an impression that deepens as the yuzu crops up on drydown. Altogether it’s giving kitsune glamoured to be a beautiful courtesan in lovely sunrise-painted silk robes. Mysterious, fancy, and alluring. I’d highly recommend it to floral lovers and Japanophiles.
