I got this as a sample, and I guess I just don't mix as well with wine scents, it comes off a little too syrupy for my personal taste, but it does smell nice and sweet. In the bottle, you get the patchouli and spiced mulberry wine first. For my taste, I wish it was more musk forward. Still a great scent though.

Wow, this is punchy and makes me want to do karate! For real though, the patchouli in this right off the bat is like a slap in the face - it starts off with that wintergreeny feel I get from patchouli sometimes, and I was almost prepared to turn my nose up at this, and then the dry down happened, and like magic - it shifted - and the spiced wine and peach started shining through, and I was HOOKED. I like the amount of spice in this and that the wine doesn't go too generic "berry" or candle. The mahogany is smooth and nice in the background, and the musk doesn't go into headache territory. It makes me feel like I can do anything! I think I LOVE this.

It's just arrived in the mail yesterday so it hasn't rested more than 24 hours. However I needed to begin my ritual today and this was the perfect oil to start with. I have a long slow fuse and it takes a lot to make me really angry. There's a thing that's been happening and it's time for me to channel that anger into effectiveness. The scent of this one is just perfect for me... The dry down is a dark spiced patchouli blend with the other notes as supporting characters. This scent is made of win and I am counting on that for me.
