Reviewing my bottle that's aged for about 2 years: In the bottle and immediately on application, Defiled is a clove-forward, cinnamon, patch & cardamom cloud tempered by the fig and vanilla that's sexy AF. Jasmine and orris are usually amped on me but not here. They show up more in the lightly floral vanilla that peeks out as it dries down and within an hour or two the fuller clove/spiced patchouli vanilla experience blossoms on my skin. Patchouli vanilla combos are always some of my favorites and this definitely ranks in the top 5 of them in my collection.
