The floral note here is the Datura, and there's a vegetal smell that really does smell like the odorous leaves of a nightshade. Anyone who has worked with this "tribe" of plants can attest to the distinctive smell they all share somewhat in common. Think crushed tomato leaves. Datura is my original, first plant ally, and I think this blend does it more justice than any other perfume I've experienced. Usually I can't stand musk but the "dirty" note at the bottom of this is just....*chef's kiss*.

A powerful blend of witchy herbs

This is my ideal dark green scent with the perfect amount of bite coming from the bitter herbs. The poisonous vibe it gives off is intoxicating in a way that makes me feel truly powerful. It starts off intensely pungent, think a witch’s cottage deep in the woods filled with bitter herbs, and slowly fades to a gentle bouquet of green and white florals. I can almost feel the velvety softness of their petals between my fingers as I imagine myself sprinkling them into a ritual bath under the full moon. Majority of the notes in this are new to me, but I’m definitely getting distinctive notes of sage, honeysuckle, and an earthy musk from this blend.

Look, but don't touch! (Sniff, but don't touch!)

Oh how interesting! I love a floral, and I love a poison garden, but this is anything but your typical garden scent! The Poisoner's Garden opens with a sharp note that reads like a neon green. Don't try and sneak poison into anyone's tea cup while wearing this, because all noses will be turned your way. It announces itself with force and seems to yell "look, but don't touch!" The opening is bold and confident. On the dry down it turns slightly less green and a bit more white, though it never reads traditionally floral to me. The loam comes through a bit at the end, though it's never pronounced for me. The datura and that sharp green (the peppercorn?) are the stars of the show. Something about this perfume's dry down makes me think of the softer, more gentle Sun Room, so if you love that unusual scent, you may like this one too. This one will wear extremely well in cool weather and would be a knockout for formal occasions and masquerade balls. I can see it being worn by a long cool woman in a black dress. Bravo on such a fierce and unusual concoction!
