I got this as a free sample in my first ever order from NC, and I’m very happy about it because I would NEVER have chosen this on my own based off the description. I am usually indifferent at best to fragrances that are primarily gourmands, but this one has turned me around, at least enough to make this one exception.

It starts out just sweet enough from the vanilla with some warmth from the oat and crispness from the rhubarb. As it warms and dries down the ginger ale comes forward and you end up smelling like a freshly-baked, just-iced ginger snap cookie, which is an experience I didn’t know I needed or wanted before trying this out. The ginger becomes more effervescent as time goes on before fading into a slight tinge of spiciness in amongst the honey and vanilla.

I loved this so much that I bought the full size less than a day after the sample arrived and edged out all but one of the samples I’d picked on my own. 10/10 will definitely be repurchasing next month after I run through the entire vial. Don’t you dare discontinue this.
