Great fall scent.

Smells very much like the old wood chest I keep my wax melts in. Warm, cozy and inviting. It’s definitely a wood-forward scent and not sweet at all but reminiscent of a baked good with warm spices and orange zest. I would consider this very unisex. Lovely, and perfect for the colder months!

Lovely!

I'm not one for picking out all the notes etc especially in such a well-blended scent - but will say what it makes me think of :)
This one I got as a free sample with my first order and I fell in love with it! It is def an autumn/winter scent, and it does bring to mind a cozy sweater almost immediately. It also makes me think of a fancy hotel, like this is a scent they would have in their lobby :) will def purchase more of this one!!

Not really a cozy wool on my skin, more heavy and resinous

I ordered this to sample because Wool Over Your Eyes and Somniphilia were both out of stock and I really, really wanted to see how NCD did wool– such good notes about it online. I do get a touch of the lanolin in raw wool (this is such a nostalgic note for me that I am currently seeking)-- very realistic, but it is not the star of this blend. The copal and teak are so powerful on my skin, that resinous note perhaps almost cloyingly sweet. After a few tries, I still cannot find the mandarin or coriander, but definitely a lot of warm spice against the wood. Favorite Sweater is a miss for me, but I am not the biggest fan of dark woods, warm spices, or incense (the risk I took choosing this perfume, I knew what I was getting into). If you’re really into those notes, you may enjoy it more than I do. It does have an impressive longevity. I really hope the other two wool scents are restocked because their recipes seem more like something I would enjoy, hopefully they are also stronger on the wool.

The holy grail of sweater scents

The scent equivalent of the feeling you get from that first chill in the air as Autumn begins to take hold. While wet, the teakwood and green mandarin stand out the most to my nose. The lamb’s wool accord gives this scent that distinctive warm and fuzzy feeling that I’ve always wanted in a sweater scent. The chai elevates it to a whole other level for me.

Nui Cobalt has done it again!

For YEARS I've been looking for the perfect "snuggly sweater" scent and I finally found it in Favorite Sweater. Most sweater scents end up too clean or have that dryer sheet fuzzy edge to them, but Favorite Sweater takes a warmer, almost nutty route instead. The mandarin mixed with the wool gives it the perfect sweater feel while the chai and coriander keep it grounded. If you love The Bee's Knees or White-Tailed Deer, then I think you'd love this scent.
