I often feel drawn to Nui Cobalt's oils, and Manta Ray is one that I've kept thinking about and am glad I was finally able to order it. I recently reviewed Nui Cobalt's Grey Cat oil, which has my favorite blueberry note to date, as it is very realistic and juicy. The blueberry note in this smells sweeter, like a blueberry syrup mixed into fizzy soda water, and the saltwater and ambergris add a cold, darker, salty tone that I really enjoy.
It's like a bracing mixed drink with vodka, soda water and blueberry syrup. But these are drinks on a deep sea fishing excursion rather than drinks on a beach, where the ocean is a deep, dark, blackened blue. Cold and topped with white peaks.
So pretty.
