On my skin this starts out as a clean, slightly aquatic, non descriptive white floral smell that immediately kicks up my allergies (reason for 3 out of 5 star rating). On a positive this is the first time EVER that (coconut water from the notes) does not turn to plastic on my skin. I am impressed, usually coconut has been a death note on me. I’m happy this was a gifted sample included with my first purchase. I wouldn’t have picked this on my own. I figured Obatala would lean towards the gourmand, but not at all. The rice pudding never develops on my skin, I can tell you it does appear when this oil is diffused and the coconut water is much more prominent. The coconut water recedes and I’m amping something “clean” from this blend. The end result of this on me is freshly laundered white cotton sheets that were just pulled down off the outside clothesline to air dry. I’d be a bigger fan of this if it hadn’t kicked up my allergies in the form of non stop sneezing and watery eyes. Many clean/laundry/white florals seems to aggravate my allergies across the board. I’m bummed this one falls into that category for me.

I received this as a sample and holy crow it’s GOOOOOOOOOOOOD.

It’s fresh as heck and also very comforting at the same time. It’s so unique and I absolutely had no clue on what the notes were until I looked it up. Needless to say, I was really surprised. I would never have picked this out myself as I’m not a huge fan of the clean linen smell but whoa. It’s perfect with the rest of the notes and that mountain air is just to die for.

this is absolutely one of THE MOST unique scents over ever sniffed. I can’t BELIEVE this is the first review on this one.

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS ONE YA’LL

Ignore the notes you may not think you’ll like and just get the sample. I will be buying a full size of this one.
