Grey Cat goes on Summer Vacation

My favorite notes are lavender, violet and tea with no sugar added, so of course I had to get this one. It is so well blended that I can't pick out notes, but I feel like I'm in some fragrant lush herb garden filled with lavender and purple flowers, rubbing a bit of lemon balm between my fingers. The amber base makes this elegant and grown up. I wear it to work actually. I am adding this review in hopes this make it to the permanent collection, so it will be around for a while- and so I can buy a big bottle and wear this all summer and Grey Cat all winter.

Delicate but fun violet & blueberry

I get the violets, blueberry, and tea upfront with a zing of lime in the back. Looooove it!! I think there's a good chance you'd like this if you like Grey Cat! It has its similarities to Grey Cat, but has enough differences to make it reasonable to own both. Another unique scent I'd love to own a full size of down the line.

Smoldering Blue Violet

This scent became a favorite upon my very first wear. It’s sexy, deep and shockingly gender neutral considering its powerful floral and blueberry notes. If you ever had the opportunity to try NCD's Neptune perfume, this somehow shares that gorgeous smoldering dark blue chalkiness (a result of the earl grey and the blue amber combining perhaps?). What makes this one truly special though is the way it blooms throughout the day.

Initially it's flower forward, smelling like photo realistic violets. That shock of floral fades fast though, leaning more towards the amber w that lime note beginning to pop. Over time the earl grey moves to the forefront and the lime becomes more prominent along w a bold burst from the blueberries. In the end, the earl grey and blueberries mellow to a quiet version of that chalky blue.

When I feel like being dramatic, elegant and just a bit gothic, this is my perfume of choice. I loved it enough I did acquire a full size and I wear it often.
