I feel it’s the resinous spices that give it that heat which further lifts up the mandarin. This is a zesty fruit with sweetness. I find the rosemary as a wood note that compliments the glowing mandarin. The creamy sandalwood is another rich wood element. I feel the warm vanilla thread I notice is the Sumatran benzoin added into the resins, along with the spicy indulgence of the black amber. The bronze musk is a woody warm base, strong enough to harmonize all of these notes. I find this scent to be reassuring.
