My nose awakens to recall the upscale blend Akhal-Teke by Nui Cobalt that I reviewed months ago. This could be a scent along that line, sharing variants of the suede and amber notes, and serving up the classy richness of prosperity. The scent is delicate, the suede exuding a light musk. The amber resin is a honeyed incense, drifting through the blend. The final natural elements of this perfume are muted and softened, as this does not read atmospheric to me. The stone musk is a grounded addition, the fir balsam brings a sweet woods, and the moss conjures up an additional layer of musk. The name of this perfume is apt, it’s an oil that I would wear to empower myself and incite inspiration.

A green, foresty-tinged white amber that's a little bit aquatic from the moss, a little bit chilly and standoffish from the stone, and a little bit slinky from the suede. It reminds me of Ophidiophilia (Love of Snakes) [Pink sandalwood, Saharan musk, copaiba balsam, shea butter, dried fig, pale patchouli, and soft tawny suede] with its clean, white, suede slinkiness, and also somewhat of Icicle Tiara [Nui's inscrutable Cold accord casts a glistening frost over delicate white tea, fine linen, budding blue lotus, pale amber resin, frozen forest musk and sparkling vanilla sugar] in that, while Shiver isn't soapy, like Icicle Tiara it feels very much like a "fancy soap in winter" scent. There's something just so fresh yet cozy about the drydown, and it's super pretty.
