An ode to my favorite Autumn pastime: poking the embers of a gentle backyard campfire.
Top notes of ginger root, turmeric, cardamom, and white peppercorn give way to a heart of golden hay, copal, and oudh over a base of peru balsam, loamy soil, and woodsmoke.
Wear for support in reaching a meditative state, or simply to release the stresses of the day.

Available in 5 ml bottle or 1 ml sample vial. Phthalate-free.

Autumn camping and book nooks

A wonderful start of a campfire and spiced cider kind of vibe. Starts off a little bit of a spicy smoky vibe-which filters out a bit and lingers as until I wash it all off. And that's a good thing. The peppercorn, ginger root, turmeric, and cardamom blend so well in the initial top and middle notes-not overpoweringly so, but just enough to know this hay bale of a scent means business. The balsam, soil, and oudh notes cause it all to linger nicely for hours. Akin to hot embers in the autumn chilled air that are never fully satiated. It's a wonderful spicy sort of scent that I will happily live in if given the chance. Please keep this in stock for us!

The best campfire scent I own

This starts off smoky, but not to the point of feeling like I’m choking on it. It’s more like the way bonfire smoke lingers on your clothes in the coziest way. The notes are blended so well that I’m having a hard time picking out each one, but I definitely notice the peru balsam, white peppercorn, and the ginger root most prominently while wet. There’s a slight sweetness as well which I’m guessing is coming from the cardamom. The oudh gives off a very woody and resinous scent that really makes this scent for me. Balefire gives the other campfire themed perfumes in my collection a definite run for their money.

This is 100% a Fall evening in the backyard in a bottle. The woodsmoke here feels very realistic and smoldering, and the dryness of the hay is there. I get a sensation of moist, loamy soil in the back of my nose, and love the way it combines with the ginger, turmeric, and cardamom. The oudh is beautiful and not overbearing, and I get sort of an impression of leather, but think it's just the way some of these notes are combining. This makes me very excited for cool weather and crunchy leaves!
