Beautiful!

This is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance. I wasn’t sure about the combination of notes, and if I would like it, but I am going through something in my personal life, and I need confidence in my own judgment, so I gave it a try! There is something in this that reminds me of Wool Over Your Eyes, which I love, it’s probably the spices combined with the florals. The Jasmine is really lovely… I prefer jasmine without the indole… none of that slightly dirty smell, this jasmine stays fresh and compliments the rose beautifully. The almond keeps it from being screechy. I wasn’t sure I would like it, but I am glad I took a chance, because it has become a favorite.

First sniff - spicy, cinnamony cookie! On the skin - still very spiced cookie, though it blooms as it dries on the skin and the benzoin starts to come through with a bit of astringency and then I get the jasmine, which is nice and smooth without being overly heady. The rose petals start coming through for me after it has dried a little more, giving it a more floral feel than the more it wears. I'd call this one a spicy floral that becomes less spicy as time goes by.
