Honey roasted chestnuts coated in maple sugar, YES PLEASE. I love the toasted quality of the nuts in this - it's as if they've just been pulled off the flames and are steaming and getting that lovely crust from caramelized sugar on them. The maple isn't strong and blends really well with the other notes in the fragrance. I don't start getting any lavender until it dries down - but this is very smooth, mellow lavender, less medicinal than other varieties. The oatstraw also becomes more apparent the longer it wears, fresh and comforting. I never get any lemon zest, but citrus never lasts long on my skin. This is WONDERFUL.

I recommend this!

This reminds me of Hive Mind, but is heavier, kind of like white sugar vs molasses. The maple sugar is strongest on me but because of the lavender, it doesn't feel entirely gourmand.

Sometimes, throughout the day, having a ton of things to do starts to put me in a lack state as I start thinking I don't have enough time/energy. This allows me to retain the calmness and contentment that I begin the day with.

Great product!

A Wild Success!

This is my wild success from this collection! Spoiler alert: I ordered a sample because I wasn't sure about the lavender, but I actually adore this and ended up springing for a full size. It starts sweet, with those maple-y toasty nuts, and soft, non-medicinal lavender alongside. This is lavender for people who don't *love* lavender, it's distinct yet also soft and sweet, never harsh or soapy. Everything blends together so well, and every so often a little wisp of one particular note just floats up more than the others. Anyway, it smells great, but the intention is also so effective. I wore this for the first time on a day which turned out to be very busy and stressful-- but I did not succumb to anxiety. I made it through and have reached for Home Sweet Hive regularly since, in this topsy turvy time. It's perfect.

The masterpiece of the Bees collection.

That's not an exaggeration. I had been uninterested in indies for almost a full year until I saw the notes for this scent. And let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. Anyone who is familiar with Alchemic Muse's Lovecraft or Moonalisa's Rumpkin will ADORE this perfume. It feels very similar, but without the pumpkin note.

It combines the the florals of spring with the warm, gourmand notes of fall for a lovely, complementary scent. It's warm without being heavy, sweet without being cloying, and fresh without being soapy.

I blindly ordered a full size of this based on description alone and my instincts were on point. Take the leap with this one, because it will knock your socks off!
