Sultry Thai iced tea

Received a sample with my (beloved) bibliophilia.

To my nose, there is a perfect mix of Thai tea (no ice) and a deep, sultry honey note that adds complexity to the scent. A delicious gourmand sweet with a hint of darkness…

Not exactly thai milk tea..

I was really looking forward to this scent because I LOVE the smell of Thai iced tea. I imagined it to smell like the ironic ChaTraMue tea mix, so I was a little disappointed. This perfume smells like a slightly spiced latte with honey and a hint of herbal notes. The vanilla makes everything warm and sweet. I can smell tea in the background, but it isn’t the rich and heavy black tea used for Thai tea.
The orange Thai tea we drink in restaurants is usually made with black tea mix, vanilla, and condensed milk. So the notes in this perfume itself is different from the original drink.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed this scent! It’s a very nice fragrance. I think I would have rated it higher if it had a different name.
