I had the good fortune of working for a James Beard award nominee baker in Maine. When her raspberry financiers hit the cooling racks folks would follow the delicious trail, meandering in for a “chat” which would inevitably unravel into just staring the cakes down conversation be damned. This scent has that same gravitational pull to someplace familiar-welcoming, comfort of the kitchen, nostalgically familiar. Forest layers these scents so deftly...her instincts for balance in every scent I’ve had the good fortune of experiencing not only delivers but transports.
