A new favorite. Nui Cobalt continues to blow my mind with gorgeous scent after gorgeous scent. Every time i order i find a new favorite… my hit rate with them is insane. My top five fragrances are all NCD. This is definitely the house to try if your new to the indie fragrance world.

This is a beautifully bright fragrance.

Pink cotton candy, sugary and vibrant and a bit more girly than I normally like, but the suede helps to mitigate the sweetness beautifully. And the drydown is gorgeous - sugary still, but less youthfully, and the phenomenal NCD fabric notes of the silk and cashmere make it musky and surprisingly sophisticated. Not just a carnival sweet!

A scent like this from the notes, has a chance of coming off as "too juvenile" to some, but I think this comes out very subtle and sweet. I wish that it lasted a bit longer on my skin, because it's a lovely, subtle gourmand. Unfortunately, my skin ate it up so quickly. If the notes speak to you, I'd say go for it, you won't be disappointed.

While wet, Nephophilia briefly smells like bubblegum but quickly begins to transform on my skin. I wasn't sure how the cotton candy would come off to me. I was worried it would be sickeningly sweet, but I was so wrong! The cashmere and suede keep this pink scent on the softer side. Wearing it makes me feel as if I’m the woman in Fragonard’s painting, The Swing. The steamed vanilla comes out shortly after the dry down, adding a delightful creaminess. It really is playful and uplifting in a feminine way. I’m almost surprised at how different it is from what I was expecting and I can’t wait to wear it as the weather starts to shift.
