this one was exactly what I think a black cat smells like (in theory).
out of the bottle it is extremely sweet and reminds me of root beer and incense (patchouli, nag champa and sandalwood). I can smell the chai spices immediately and honestly this blend smells drinkable!! absolutely delicious
On the skin it gets even better. the smell is soft and warm like a cat, and the pipe tobacco and blackcurrant smells come through more. I wish I could just smell like this naturally, but I'll have to settle for putting this scent on instead!

Smells like pipe tobacco and nag champa incense.

If any of the Cat perfumes come back in stock and you get a chance at them, definitely go for it. They are all beautiful and I cannot even begin to pick a favorite. The black currant in Black Cat comes off as a velvety, sweet, dark, sensual plum note on my skin, and the other notes wrap around it in this comforting yet sensual haze. The chai spices are well behaved and not sharp or overly gourmand at all, just adding this lovely, snuggly warmth to the blend. The myrrh is dark and deeply resinous with this lovely incense and cigar smoke waft that floats over all of the notes. I was worried about the chai spices being overwhelming or the nag champa turning to aggressive headshop incense on me, but the spices are subtle and I can't really smell the nag champa exactly, though it does have an overlay of incense smoke. A lovely dark fruit blend with resins, smoke, and warmth. I love this so much!

I love this scent so much! I knew I would love it and bought two. It smells like what good luck, well wishes with dash of spontaneity would smell like. I can smell all of the love and good intentions that went into this blend. Feels like a warm and furry cat companion ready to be on the prowl with me. Thank you Forest for another magickal blend that is spot on and so full of solace, love and a little mischief.
