The lemon is prominent here. It’s a bright fresh clean lemony smell that borders on cleaning product when smelled straight from the bottle but mellows on the skin as the rice and tea notes become a little more noticeable.

I was expecting this one to feature the jasmine rice above all else, but the lemon is the strong top note. Instead, the rice takes a backseat, rounding out the acidity as the lemon candy note melts away. It’s very fascinating– once that rice peeks through, it provides a crisp hay-like flavor that is so refreshing and light. It’s super clean but not laundry, very sophisticated and polished with a hint of floral from the tea. I really love this and I have also learned I love, love, love rice in perfume.
