I agree so much with the previous review. This is a beautiful, gothic, romantic, sensual fragrance. It makes me think of dried jasmine petals dusted in brown sugar, and then rolled into an incense, and the black currant and plum give it a dark, plush, velvety undertone. The jasmine isn't soapy or sour at all, and the cardamom and cinnamon are subtle. Really beautiful.

My friend got me a gift of Victorian Burlesque and I received it in the mail today. A scent that could very well be the love child of Empress Josephine and Josephine Baker, it does not lean in any direction but sexy, dark, rich and sultry. It has subtle notes of each of the great ones, floral, spicy, woodsy, fruity and still the notes blend together to make this scent that floats in the air like feathers from a boa. I will definitely be trying out the other scents as well as some of the other products.
