I’ve been craving a cannabis scent and Silverlake Solstice made me do a little happy dance as soon as I put it on. It really does smell like cannabis!!! The lime leaves add the perfect amount of citrus zest. I’m not sure if I can distinguish between the matcha and the rhubarb, but there is a definite grassiness coming through and it does come off a little sweet. It’s perfect and reminds me of a more complex version of Nui’s Liquid Luck which is my favorite grass scent. Coumarin is new to me, but apparently it can be a vanilla-like scent with grassy elements. It’s more of a cool vanilla to my nose and blends in perfectly with the rest of the notes of this beaut. Overall, this is weird in all the best ways and is a new favorite amongst my collection.
