To be fair, I had to look up some of these notes as I hadn’t come across them yet. This perfume right off is strong nectar! I can smell the black raspberry, it’s a tart gourmand. The honeyed Merlot is a sweet fruity red. The white magnolia is like a sweet lemon candy, with the flowers sailing high up in the trees. I feel the vanilla bean is an ideal companion to the magnolia, as its creamy and strong scent boosts the magnolia. The clove is subtle, tossing in some spice into the sugary mix. The last two are unknown to me, so I couldn’t detect what I haven’t smelled before. Cubeb is an herb known as Java Pepper. It adds a warm sweetness with a slight pepper edge. Liatrix is a scent similar to tobacco, without being as obtrusive. In my estimation, this perfume is a novel take on sweet without the typical confectionary element route. This throw keeps going on this as well, 5 hours on.
