I originally bought a sample of this scent and I loved it so much that I full sized it as soon as I could see it was in stock. This was my first Nui Cobalt purchase but definitely not my last. Wool Over Your Eyes smells like anise on my skin with a little bit of cinnamon and maybe nutmeg or something? It smells like photorealistic rice pudding more than any of the other scents I’ve tried

Beautiful rice pudding

This is just the perfect almondy Indian/Arab rice pudding (kheer) with the right cinnamon and spice combination from my childhood memories. The fragrant basmati rice remains under it all, true to life. So talented! I love it!

RICE RICE BABY

(cue under pressure sample) - the initial rice note on this is like when you get a new bag of short grain fragrant rice at the asian grocery and open that zip loc seal and take a good huff. i'm chinese, and i've been looking for a good rice scent that made me think of steam and starch, and this one does just that, combined with the wonderful creaminess/sweetness/spiciness of a ras malai (indian milk dessert with cardamom and other spices). the saffron provides a floral that is spicy and well balanced with the rest, normally i'm not into florals or foody scents but this combo really slaps! it's a lovely sleep scent, and it dries down into something so comforting, i'd wear it more during the day but i fear it will just make me crave rice and ras malai all the time.
