I'm not a gourmand fan, but THIS is incredible. I wish I could drink it, or slather it on bread and scarf it down. Luscious, buttery, fruity, spicy. This is how I always dreamed the fruit from the irresistible Goblin Market in Christina Rossetti's poem must smell.

When first applied, I get the boozy kick of red wine and buttery, delicious pound cake. As it dries, the wine calms down and there's a spiciness that comes forward with a bit of a floral feel, which I take to be the carnations, roses, and lilies. In the background, I definitely get the beeswax votive feel, that comes out the longer it wears.
