Warm

"Not particularly sweet, spicy, fruity, or tropical" is correct. This is very well blended and balanced. I get a matte black oud and sandalwood background, clove smoothed over by coconut and fig and just enough lime to lend a faint sense of tropical greenness. I especially enjoy this one in winter.

Creativity and contrarianism in a bottle

Bought this on a whim simply because I am an Aquarius and was completely blown away by this. I'd never been particularly interested in many of these notes but Nui Cobalt once again shows their skill as a perfumer.

Somehow Aquarius isn't particularly sweet, spicy, fruity, or tropical but rather comes out as a warm, resinous blend that sums all its parts into something gorgeous. Don't be afraid of the black oud at all, it's buoyed by all the other notes into something warm and glowing, not heavy or particularly animalic.

Genderless, season-less, timeless, and effortless. An absolutely masterful blend.
