A venerable old potion to stoke the flame of magic within.
Leather bound grimoires on mahogany shelves. A cup of hot tea, subtly sweetened with vanilla bean and honey. Sandalwood incense mingling with black patchouli, cardamom, and coriander.
Wear to amplify your psychic and magical power. It also serves as an all-purpose anointing oil for talismans and tools.

5 ml bottle & 1 ml sample vial. Phthalate-free.

This is an Archive scent.  We are not planning any more reblends this year, just selling out remaining poured bottles/vials.

Witchy confidence

Nui Cobalt has the most glorious tea note! Awaken the Witch is a perfect cup of black tea and the other notes, the leather, mahogany, incense, patchouli, and spices, swirl around it and coalesce into the most magical scent of witchy confidence. A little dark, a little earthy, but nothing harsh or screeching. It’s absolute perfection. If, like me, you’re skittish of leather or patch, this is a really phenomenal one to try because it’s so well-blended and honestly it would be a poorer scent without those notes. I am really startled by how much I like this - and so sad that it's been discontinued!

Smells like Aggie Cromwell’s secret room in Halloweentown

Awaken the Witch opens with a steaming cup of Earl Grey tea with an unlisted bergamot note coming through for me. The vanilla and honey add just a touch of sweetness, putting me in studious mood where I suddenly find myself in the dimly lit, enchanting chamber of my fairytale fantasies. Overall, this scent is beautifully complex and blended in a way that makes it difficult to pick out each individual note after it’s dried down. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to wash my face before bed and could still smell this on my wrists since more than 6 hours had passed by that time. At that point, it had become this slightly sweet musk with thin ribbons of smoke still curling in the air above me. It’s a bewitching blend that allows for a simple flick of the wrist to transport me to a hidden world inaccessible to all but myself.

Awaken the Witch

This is so beautiful and smells so familiar to me. I own hundreds of leather journals and love making my own inks. I spend most of my life writing, practicing my lettering, and drawing. This is the scent of sitting down and smelling those old leather journals and the vanillic scent of paper, enjoying a warm cup of honeyed tea with a dollop of vanilla cream, and the scent of rich sandalwood incense burning in the background. I also catch a hint of patchouli every once in a while. It's complex, warm, dark, and subtly gourmand. It's a good example of how darkness can be comforting.

Comforting, delicious, and a little bit witchy

This is a beautiful, evocative fall scent that never fails to make me take a deep breath and appreciate it. Lovely!

Perfectly named

I was gifted a sample of this scent and am so thrilled to have it. The notes are so well blended that no single note stands out, but the overall effect gives an evocative image as described. A woodsy incense with hints of spice, a tinge of sweetness from the vanilla bean and honey. Ordering a bottle of this to have on hand.
