Out of the bottle, the lavender in this is so true it made my eyes roll back. It’s a rich, herbaceous lavender with an instantly soothing effect. As soon as this is on my skin, the misted cemetery stones and the smell of rain come out in full force. There’s almost a hint of vanilla hidden within the veil of fog slowly making its way toward me, wrapping around headstones in an eerie yet comforting way. After a while, I thought I noticed the lavender going slightly medicinal, but thankfully that dissipated rather quickly. It winds up drying down into a delightfully soft scent while still managing to be another hauntingly beautiful atmospheric. I need Nui to make a pillow mist so my entire bed can smell like this every night. It’s easily one of the best things I’ve ever smelled.
