Right away, this smells like I’m deep in the forest on the cusp of winter. A skift of snow covers the ground as I search for the perfect Yule tree to cut down and bring home. There’s a hint of peppermint gum which remains faint, like the comforting smell of my grandmother’s purse from the pack which was always hidden at the very bottom. The black pepper comes through strong for me, but thankfully the other notes keep it from becoming sneeze worthy and it complements these chilly woods quite well. Skeletal Birch has great sillage and remains a crisp, winter wonderland of a scent complete with rosy cheeks and the calming silence that comes with a fresh blanket of snow.
