The strongest part of it to me is a tart berry spice. It doesn't smell like berries that would be edible to humans. The coriander ,grasses, and maybe agarwood give this a sunny, parched grassland feel. A snake would love this place. Very evocative, environmental non foody spice.

For a very long time I have considered myself a cinnamon lover, but through my journey in indie perfumes I've discovered I actually can't *wear* cinnamon perfumes for a length of time (overwhelming). Enter: acacia wood! I had no idea what it would smell like going in, but what I get is a kind of dry (unsweetened) cinnamon & ginger combination. I think the coriander and agarwood (oud) go a long way to help in this regard. This is a perfume for non-gourmand spice lovers, with a deep woody base.
