O, marvelous error --

And sweet honey from all my failures." - Antonio Machado

Backup-worthy Comfort in a Bottle

I adore this scent. It's a beautiful, comforting, fancy lotion-like, soothing, spring/summer treat. It's very versatile and although I gravitate more toward it in the spring/summer, it is absolutely a year-round scent. The cocoa butter and shea is sublime combined with the honey and floral notes. To date, this is the only scent I've ever ordered a backup of because of how often I reach for it. I will always want to wear this.

Spirit of Compassion

I love this scent; it's dreamy and brimming with comfort. I wear it when relational energies in my home go awry and it gently supports a return to harmony and peace. Forest is a master at imbuing her scents with energetic intentions and evident transformative power. That I can smell beautiful while being assisted with my energy work is an invaluable gift.

Great for peace within the household

During quarantine, it is almost inevitable to have tension within the household. I wear this almost every day, and I do believe it helps support an atmosphere of more love, kindness and support at home. It has a sweet (but not gourmand), clean scent that is comforting and not soapy. I think the reviews below capture the scent description much better than I can, but I completely recommend this.

Loving kindness indeed!

Everything in this blend sounded perfect and I had just a little hesitation over the heliotrope, before purchasing anyway. But don't worry! It's a perfect lightly powdery sweet heliotrope. No generic baby product smell here, thank goodness! It's altogether beautifully soft and gentle. At first the shea, cotton flower, and apple blossoms create a light and clean feeling, then it's deepened and sweetened by the cocoa butter and honey, and the heliotrope just peeks in over the edge. It does stay pretty close to the skin (hoping a little aging may help with this), but it lingers. I love it. My daughter loves it. *She Stopped to Pet a Bumblebee* smells like the kind of parent I aspire to be. Incredibly comforting and lovely.

Gentle and comforting with a bit of creamy nostalgia

With The Bees collection, I can't get over the adorable clever names and She Stopped To Pet A Bumblebee is such a gentle delightful scent creation that smells like cocoa butter, lemony bee balm, wistful apple blossom and the barest hint of honey. It almost reminds me of Pixie with the realistic apple blossom, however, She Stopped To Pet A Bumblebee goes in a more slightly airy and fresh scented direction versus graham cracker and spring grass. I don't know about this scent potion creating loving kindness, but I do know this one calms me down in chaotic stress-filled spaces (like the packed supermarket) and I have been reaching for the vial especially this whole week for different reasons. Now the opening and initial hour after application are nice and pleasant, but I can't recommend the drydown on this one enough- it's a hint of remaining apple and lemon under creamy white chocolate and a kiss of honey. So pretty and hits the cravings, comfort factor and nostalgia elements perfectly.
