How is this not reviewed yet? Wet on my skin, I am attracted to it. I can detect that light suede note in the background. Personally, I did not smell the sassafrass. I am not a root beer perfume person, so my nose is pleased with this wizardry. It reminds me of a kindly gnome working away in his wood shop. I get a comforting light atmospheric smelling it, but not one that others would smell it and think you are out on a limb to wear it. After one hour, it is getting stronger, outdoorsy and complex. This one is medium throw for sure, and the spicy envelopment just gets heavier by the hour. Three hours later, it’s still a close to the skin discernible scent.
