Cozy and grounding in the darkest days

Sweet bergamot, a hint of oatmeal, and then spicy warm wood, almost sauna-esque. This might finally be the spicy sweet woody scent I really go for. Warm and yummy for a second but then more sophisticated; it's more like an exfoliating oatmeal soap than a food. Plus the bergamot brightens this nicely. Slightly embarrassing confession- I love Constant Comment, and Winter Warmth has that same black tea and bergamot at the beginning. I like that this is a no-cinnamon warm spice blend. It's very grounding. It's cozy like a safe place you go, not like a fuzzy sweater.

Winter Warmth

Ok, now this is right up my alley. I get a milky Earl Grey tea at the beginning, sweetened with brown sugar and I get a touch of the warming spices coming through - not overpowering the tea, but they're there. As it dries, I start to get the bit of cedarwood and the smoothness of the mahogany, and they are gorgeous and woody - slightly smoky, but just a hint. I love the way the ginger provides a bit of brightness along with the bergamot from the Earl Grey. The longer it wears, it becomes a kind of spiced woody fragrance - definitely evocative of Winter time and being surrounded by the comforts of home.
