I love the chilled quality that this immediately opens with. It starts off with the spices of the iced chai and a musky sweetness. There’s a slight soapiness there too, but it leans more “expensive soap” to my nose. As it dries down, the cathedral incense begins to waft in and out. I’m not the biggest fan of overly incensey perfumes, but Nui’s cathedral incense note is divine. This scent really creeps up on you as it gets darker and earthier the longer you wear it. The graveyard dirt and the dead leaves add the perfect amount of wickedness and I’m getting big Jennifer’s Body vibes from it. I love Canoodling in a Leaf Pile from the Autumn Part I collection, so I’m thrilled to add her darker sister to my collection.
