Unbelievably gorgeous, a perfect addition to Nui Cobalt's Rabbits. I get primarily marshmallow, allspice, and cotton, with a touch of musky lilac. It sits exactly halfway between the other two Rabbits, with the allspice and peppery carrot seed spices like Little Brown Rabbit (but without the maple quality), and also with the silky, slightly soapy fabric aspect of Little White Rabbit. I've been wearing this one constantly all spring and summer.

Delightful and perfect for spring. This is a cotton sheets scent on my skin without veering into dryer sheet territory. Nutmeg, carrot seed, and allspice twinkle above the cotton, especially at the opening. I get faint whiffs of toasted marshmallow toward the middle, but definitely not a dominant component. The lilac comes out later and eases into the fur accord -- a delicate, fuzzy musk -- on the dry down. If you are a fan of Nui’s Appalachian Autumn and you like a strong cotton note, this might be your new spring scent.

Out of the bottle and on the skin, I notice the carrot seed and allspice right away. It’s slightly sweet and just a touch dry. The toasted marshmallow quickly joins the party and ohhh my god is it good. With the tonka?! This is instantly a new fave for me. The lilac in this blend is so gentle and beautiful. It’s a dusky purple dream and smells like pure comfort to me.

I made an order specifically to get my hands on this scent and boy am I glad I did! It arrived mere minutes ago and as soon as I sniffed it, I knew I needed to wear it immediately.

Lilac Rabbit is incredibly evocative and inviting. I feel as though I'm sitting beside an open window, sheer curtains fluttering in a gentle breeze. It's warm, but not hot, and the breeze brings with it the scent of fresh lilacs blooming in a garden beyond the window. I don't have a care in the world, and I can merely sit and enjoy being in the moment.

It's like a perfect spring day in a bottle, and this sample isn't going to be nearly enough. NCD absolutely knocked this one out of the park. For anyone on the fence about trying this one, don't be! You won't regret this gentle and elegant perfume.
