Wow, this is a really bright and zingy scent. Wet in the bottle, I get a blast of nutmeg, cardamom, and coriander, with a bit of mandarin in the background. On the skin, the mandarin and ginger really sing, and that coriander gives it a beautiful herbalness. The nutmeg and cardamom aren't nearly as strong as they were in the bottle, they take a backseat to the gorgeous, juicy citrus. As it dries down, the saffron starts to peek out, and the spices start to step forward a bit more. The mahogany underneath everything works so well with all the other notes, and ties it all together. Overall, it's fresh, bright, citrusy, and I feel like Spring Peeper is just the perfect name for it.

The melodic rhythmic chirping of Spring Peepers down in the hollow is the official sign of spring for me and here we have a fragrance that encompasses the essence of meditative night musings and motivational spirit of a persistent little creature. This is warm and inviting with the spices and the woody base is a perfect touch. The fig and bright yellow mandarin are noticeable in the vial and on application however meld into the background and I tend to amplify the warm woody spices. I love to use Spring Peeper for pure relaxation and when I'm listening to this perfume's inspiration long into the night.
