Out of the bottle, this smells almost like bubblegum. On my skin, Pixie reads more fall to me than it does spring. Think your local cider mill where they process the apple cider in house. The place is being warmed by dozens of vanilla scented candles scattered amidst all of the Halloween decor. It’s still nice enough to enjoy your goodies outside, but you’re grateful for your cozy sweater and the warm cup of cider in your hands now that there’s a slight chill in the air. It does lose some of that autumn edge as it dries down, leaving a very light and effervescent scent that lasted for more than 8 hours on my skin and even longer on my clothes. This was the freebie Nui tossed in with my order, and they always nail it with these choices. You know the comforting smell of a stuffed animal? Or when you embrace a loved one? Something about Pixie perfectly encapsulates that peaceful feeling. I find myself closing my eyes with each inhale as I bask in the moment.
